The 2022 AGM took place at Adderbury Bowls Club yesterday evening. It was great to see not only the Committee, but a few additional members attend the meeting.
We are pleased to announce all Committee members have agreed to remain in place for 2023. A full list of the Committee members and their roles can be found on the About Us page.
In the meeting, we heard reports from the Committee regarding aspects of what we all deem to have been a successful season in 2022, but also ideas and emerging plans for 2023.
Some noteworthy items discussed included the healthy membership number (34), the amount of money we’ve raised for our chosen charities this year (£1,150), an already sold-out golf tour to Bristol, and an acknowledgement for all the hard work and what an amazing job Martyn has done over the years as our Fixture Secretary. A big thank you from us all Wally!
Finally, a big thank you to all the Committee Members for the time you give to help run the Society, and indeed the Members for contributing to another enjoyable year playing golf in the AGS. Enjoy the winter break and we’ll be back in the New Year with the 2023 fixture list.
