Although we’re not connected to any particular golf club, we are fortunate to be surrounded by some great local courses. Below is a quick guide to what’s on offer within a 15-minute drive of Adderbury.
Rye Hill Golf Club
Distance from Adderbury: 5.6 milesRye Hill Golf Club is a traditional parkland course, with heath land features and panoramic views. A well-draining course playable in the wettest of weather and trolleys can be used all year. It will test the abilities of both high and low handicappers with its strategically placed bunkers to catch wayward shots and the often large and undulated greens.
Expect to pay around £20 – £30 for a round

Tadmarton Heath Golf Club
Distance from Adderbury: 6.5 milesTadmarton Heath Golf Club is a tight, testing and exceptionally well-drained heathland course. With extensive views to the Cherwell Valley, ‘Taddy’ is possible the best course in the area.
Although Tadmarton is a private, members-only golf club. Just as for the other clubs listed here, you can use sites such as teeofftimes.co.uk to find pay and play tee times. Expect to pay anywhere between £21 – £35 a round (top tip – look for a tee off time website daily deal to save £’s).

Cherwell Edge Golf Club
Distance from Adderbury: 7.6 milesCherwell Edge Golf Club is set in a very picturesque and scenic location. Its 18 hole mature undulating parkland layout is a challenge to all mainly because of the fairways being divided by trees.
Expect to pay anywhere between £15 to £27.50 for a round.
