The first fixture for the 2015 season sees the society visit the historic Stratford Golf Club – now in its 120th year!  Stratford on Avon Golf Club most notable member was Samuel Ryder who opened the present course in 1928.  Set in 190 acres this par 72 course with its tree lined fairways, fast greens and excellent drainage makes it a great venue for an early spring visit.

As per usual, bot worth mentioning particular for our new members, entry & payment must be confirmed to Martyn (Wally) two weeks before the fixture.  In this case the deadline is Sunday 8th March 2015.   The cost for the fixture is £35.  The fee for entry/payment after this date is £40.

Remember that guests are welcomes for all fixtures with the exception of members day.  The cost for guests attending this fixture is £40.

The format for the day will be Stableford, where there will be prizes for 1st and 2nd place.  There are also prizes for the longest drive and nearest the pin.

Arrival at 9:45am for a full English breakfast, first tee is at 11am.  Following the golf, there will be a 3 course evening meal and 2014 prize giving ceremony at the Coach & Horses, Adderbury starting at 7:30pm.  There will also be a DJ/karaoke to help with celebrations!  (There is a £10 charge for the dinner).
